Enrollment Process

The Difference 2-17 is an approved vendor for individuals enrolled in The Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administrations (DDA) Self-Directed Services (SDS).

To enroll in Self-Directed Services, please visit the DDA website.

Enrollment with The Difference 2-17 is based on various factors such as service requirements, availability, and areas served. Currently, we offer enrollment for members in Mount Airy, Frederick, Westminster and Ellicott City.

I am grateful to The Difference 2-17 for the wonderful friendships Garret has made there as well as for the wonderful, compassionate staff. Thank you for offering Garret many opportunities with jobs, yoga, bowling, art, cooking, exercise, social outings, learning new skills, weekly lunch outings and so much more.

I see the weekly Facebook photos and I always see Garret laughing, smiling, busy working and engaged. Garret now comes home and talks with me about his day and tells me his friends’ names and the names of the staff members that he works with. Garret feels comfortable at The Difference. 🥰
