Enrollment Process

The Difference 2-17 is an approved vendor for
SDS (Self-Directed Services) and DDA Provider services.

Enrollment is based on various factors such as service requirements, availability, and location. Currently, we offer enrollment for members in Mount Airy, Frederick, and soon Westminster. Our services include both Self-Directed Services and, in the near future, Traditional Provider Services which will be available exclusively in Westminster.

I am grateful to The Difference 2-17 for the wonderful friendships Garret has made there as well as for the wonderful, compassionate staff. Thank you for offering Garret many opportunities with jobs, yoga, bowling, art, cooking, exercise, social outings, learning new skills, weekly lunch outings and so much more.

I see the weekly Facebook photos and I always see Garret laughing, smiling, busy working and engaged. Garret now comes home and talks with me about his day and tells me his friends’ names and the names of the staff members that he works with. Garret feels comfortable at The Difference. 🥰
