Employment Services

To support adults on the autism spectrum and those with neurological diversity in finding and maintaining meaningful employment, The Difference 2-17 offers a range of Employment Services.

These services include the Discovery process, which consists of three milestones.

During Discovery milestones 1, 2, and 3, individuals are supported in identifying their strengths, skills, and interests, as well as exploring potential career paths.

Additionally, The Difference 2-17 provides Employment-Self-Employment Development Supports.

This includes assistance in creating business plans and strategies for those interested in pursuing self-employment opportunities.

Ongoing Job Supports are also available to help individuals maintain employment success.

Coaching and mentoring are available to address any challenges that may arise.

To ensure continued growth and success in the workplace, Follow Along Supports are offered to members. These supports involve regular check-ins and assessments to identify any additional support needs or areas for improvement.

Lastly, Co-Worker Supports are available to foster positive relationships and collaboration with colleagues, providing guidance and assistance in navigating workplace dynamics.

Through these Employment Services, The Difference 2-17 strives to empower and support adults on the autism spectrum in their journey to find rewarding and fulfilling employment.
